I’m Kristy, the face behind the camera at Kristy Alinoski Photography. For the last eight years I have been photographing weddings and families – telling stories through portraits. And I’ve loved every minute of it, but I’ve been busy making some exciting changes over here!

A while back I teased about a big announcement I was going to make, and then I dropped off the radar. Radio silence. To be honest, I got nervous and started making excuses. “I don’t have everything ready.” “It’s not the right time.” Doubt and insecurity were sinking in, and for a minute I thought maybe I would just give up. Just throw in the towel and walk away. But then the last few months happened.

These last few months. Full of chaos and loss. Full of grief. It was in these last few months that I realized just how important it was for me to do the damn thing already.

So here it is.. the big announcement.. what I have been working on behind the scenes for over a year now…

I am trading in the first dances, the teary eyed vows, and the stunning floral arrangements for slobbery kisses and poop bags.

Yes, you read that correctly. Kristy Alinoski Photography is now fully focused on providing fine art pet photography centered around an experience custom tailored to your pet and their needs, that will allow you to create lifelong memories and beautiful, tangible artwork.

I’m a pet parent just like you. I understand what it means when you tell me that your dog (or horse or other furry friend) means the world to you. I know that feeling where you love them so much it makes your heart hurt. I understand the light they bring to every day. And I want to capture that for you so you can hold on to that light, that feeling, forever.

See, over the last few months we had to say goodbye to two members of our pack. We knew the day was going to come at some point, but that didn’t make it easier, and after we had to say goodbye we clung to what we had left, which was mostly photos and memories. And that’s when I realized how important it was for me to just start, to just put everything out there into the universe. Because I want to help you make those memories, something just for you and your fur babies that you can cherish. And I want to capture it for you and help you create artwork that will show how amazing and wonderful that light in your life is. I want to give you something you can cling to when you need it.
